38 Welcome To The Clearing: Genevieve Grant Thompson - Writer, Performance Coach & 'Somatic Worker'
Welcome to another exciting - and indeed very special Episode - of "The Good Listening To" Podcast with me Chris Grimes!
Please welcome to the "GLT Clearing" today: Writer, Performance Coach & "Somatic Worker" (get her!) the wise and wonderful Genevieve Grant-Thompson!
A wonderful and rich conversation indeed, speaking to one of my very own wonderful and wise Mentors: Genevieve is a wise soul & spirit indeed - and someone that I hold in very high regard.
She also said something to me once - a sage piece of advice that I'll never forget, as she explained why she was leaving one place - energetically - to go and be in another:
"Your Energy is like a precious pot of Gold & Honey: Be very, very careful where you pour it!"
We also talk about this in her Interview/Film.
As well as the profound and heart-warming story of how she used her Somatic wisdom and knowledge - very recently - to ease and comfort her father in his final journey, full of self-awareness, towards his death in his home - on his boat - in the Caribbean.
Genevieve has a wholistic approach to her work, which is to "get humans to fulfil their potential for joy, connection, and productivity". She has expertise in uncovering authenticity, removing roadblocks, and getting to the other side of fear.
